- Sian Davey's monumental portrait of Martin Parr, who died last year, sets the tone for the festival's theme, "We Are Family."
- Barbara Davatz's series "As Time Goes By" documents the changing relationships of couples over three decades.
- Martina Bacigalupo's "Showing How Big the Sky Is" highlights her bond with her former nanny, Chiou Taur Wu.
- Karolina Wojtas's project bravely addresses the complexities of sibling rivalry with humour and tenderness.
- Stacy Kranitz's work, winner of the Images Vevey book award, investigates the history of exploitation and poverty in Appalachia, questioning photography's role as witness or propaganda.
- The festival is set in Vevey, Switzerland, against the backdrop of Lake Geneva and the Swiss Alps.
