How ‘pro-union conservatism’ is a win for the radical Left
Congress will deal a massive blow to the anti-abortion, pro-conservative values movement if it passes Sen. Josh Hawley’s (R-MO) Faster Labor Contracts Act. The bill upends the current process for negotiating union contracts, allowing union-friendly government “arbitrators” to impose their own labor terms onto any private-sector business, large or small, that becomes unionized. The bill has a real chance of clearing the Senate after a small group of ill-advised Republicans teamed up with Democrats to circumvent Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) and advance it out of the House.

TL;DR
- The Faster Labor Contracts Act (FLCA) could negatively impact the anti-abortion and pro-conservative movement.
- The bill proposes changes to union contract negotiations, allowing government arbitrators to impose labor terms.
- Some Republicans have supported advancing the bill, which is seen as a significant gain for union officials.
- Unions are described as a reliable source of support for the radical left.
