Evergrande Founder Sentenced to Life in Prison
Chinese property developer Evergrande founder Hui Ka Yan was sentenced to life in prison after pleading guilty to financial crimes including fraud and misuse of funds. Evergrande and a subsidiary were also heavily fined.
